Before installing your new regulator/rectifier:
Check the AC output of the stator
Replace any burned or corroded connectors on stator and regulator/rectifier
Check and repair any melted wiring
Use hi-temp dielectric grease on all connector

Please note that there are multiple regulators for some Triumph vehicles. Please refer to the note below to make sur you purchase the right part.

Bonneville 2017 to 2020: This part will only fit on Bonneville with a VIN HIGHER than 513325. If you have a LOWER VIN you should look for parts # RM30506 / RM30506H / RMS022-105928 / RMS023 106203 / RMS023-107140.

Thruxton from 2008 to 2020 This part will only fit Thruxton with a VIN HIGHER than 513322. If your vehicle has a VIN inferior to 513321, refer to OEM T1300890.
